Hello, my name is Kieran Stubbs! I am a London based graphic designer. Throughout my work, I explore various design mediums from editorial design, printmaking, experimental typography to photography, and I have a particular interest in traditional printmaking. I enjoy working digitally and physically and experimenting with letterpress, screen printing, and offset lithographic printing. Binary Opposites

My investigation of light to dark through the lens of duality is expressed as two pairs of opposites. The outcome consists of two A2 letterpress posters that use bold typography and abstract colour to visualise these contrasting details. Through various design choices and material processes, each poster aims to evoke a visceral, non-literal understanding of balance, tension, and transition between extremes. Each outcome reflects my interest in how design can move beyond readability to become experiential, encouraging viewers to engage with meaning through mood, material, and metaphor. It is an experimental study in traditional printmaking, visual contrast and tactile exploration of how typographic form and colour interact to express duality.

Hyde Park is a public space I know well and have visited often. This project explores the interactions within the park and offers a visual mapping of its dynamic environment to understand its unique visual language better. Through a combination of observation, documentation, and interpretation, it reveals how people move through and inhabit the space. As you read this publication, you are invited to continue the exploration. Consider how your experiences and perspectives might extend this project by noticing patterns, gestures, or atmospheres that shape Hyde Park and similar urban spaces. In doing so, this work becomes not just a record but an evolving conversation about how public spaces resonate with us.
